Just won a 6 rounder, caught the last round on eurosport. Not all that impressive from what the commentators were saying although they were saying he had all 6 rounds (judges didnt see it that way but it is germany)

He boxed awfully. Haven't seen that much of him before, but he was very stiff, tired early, didn't get his arms back up when he punched - then he got countered. Hide could've gotten all rounds in my eyes, but it wasn't a impressive performance at all. He should retire.

What? He's on the verge of getting himself in the Cruiser title scene...if he's come this far, he may as well keep going until he wins a belt or loses. Packing it in now would seem a waste of the last two years.

Well, as he performed tonight, it didn't look like he would be anywhere near of getting another titleshot.

Maybe he had a bad day (a very bad one).

Although I believe Herbie Hide to be pretty poor these days, he does seem to stand as good a chance as anybody of getting a decent payday at some point.

Although getting knocked out by Enzo Macc would be highly embarrassing, it would probably pay quite well.

Il give it to Herbie. That guys been around the block for a long time. Nearly 20 years infact. And when he stays busy he does just that. Im sure his fought at least 5 or 6 times this year..

This fight was a last minute addition to the card a couple of weeks ago, although Hide did fight recently he weighted 211lbs and was 207 for this one. If anyone saw his 2 round destruction of Rudiger May earlier in the year this was probably his best performance since returning at Cruiser. If he can get in shape and train hard he can get a title shot, however if he continues to drop in poor showings like this then he is not going anywhere.

You have got to wonder what he has left, just up until a year ago
he had only been taken the distance once, now he is fighting smaller guys at cruiserweight and against a lower level of competition and he is going the distance often lately...is it lack of motivation or is he that far past it?

u do get the feeling he'll lose his first meaningful fight in world class though. :-(

Didn't realise he's fought 5 times this year...well, he's getting the fights in at least.

The was more positivity about Herbie's chances until the knockdown against Seferi. That seemed to bring out the skeptics again, naturally.

Herbie - Enzo would be interesting.

Herbie has never had a good chin. A stiff breeze could put him to sleep and his reflexs have waned. BUT he does have a punchers chance. The one thing he could always do was punch. Good fight for Enzo i think. But im not sure of Warren would risk that.

I think he has a eliminator lined up against American Matt Gdfrey early next year.

I think Herbie vs Enzo would be a 50-50 fight.

About 40% too risky for Warren.

I understand that he did it as a favour to Ahmet Oner on short notice - he is making an ugly habit of it though and needs to focus.

Hennessy was supposed to be getting a fight with Mormeck - any news?
