    In that case he wasn't a world heavyweight champion :deal

    He was heavyweight champion of Sports Network and Chumpsville :deal

    He could have perhaps done something at cruiser - been very good - but at the time cruiser was very lowly regarded. It was seen as nothing but a stepping stone to the heavies; If a stepping stone at all (a bit of a nothing division). All the money was in the heavies.... had he not moved he could well have achieved something of considerable note at the lower weight... having said that, at the time cruiser-weight belts held very little kudos...
