He showed good stamina and Boxing skills and excellent reflexes as he won virtually every round and coasted it. The guy he fought looked facially a bit like Riddick Bowe only much smaller he seemed physically smaller than Hide but a very slippery customer indeed.
He was on his bike after being floored in the 5th and was warned by the ref several times for turning his back and running literally.

He was fighting a guy called Ehinomen Ehikhamenor, never heard of him before and his record of 12-2 wasn't all that impressive I only recognized a few names on his record but, he had 7 kos and indeed surprised Herbie in the opener, Hide's apponent was quick and slick and moved around Hide virtually the entire fight he seemed fired up and he possibly shaded the opening round, the second was also very close but Hide seemed to finding his range more with his Jab and he picked it up in the Third another close round but Hide outworked Ehikhamenor landing a little more and making his opponent miss.
Then Hide really tried to close the fight in the fourth he hurt his opponent and floored him. But in the fifth Ehikhamenor decided to go on his bike and danced away from Hide and frustrating Hide a little, hoping that he would get wild and be open for a big shot. Instead Hide boxed more patiently and won the fifth easily. From then on it was Hide coasting all the way. He Hurt his opponent a couple of times but couldnt finish him as Ehikhamenor would move one way then the other despereatly trying to survive. Hide showed patience stamina good boxing skills and overall he impressed me, even though there was no KO.

Good to see Hide get the win. Just hope he gets a decent shot at a named fighter next.

Herbies Hide match makers are the best iv ever seen. Iv never seen a fighter so busy against so many cans.Even though his had periods of inactivity inbetween bouts Hide has always been an active fighter. Quite impressive.

I saw the Rudiger May fight on youtube and he looked a bit wild with his punches, not smooth and sharp like his early days. Rudiger May didnt really come to fight so its hard to be impressive. I've never seen Herbie Hide out of shape, so i wouldnt call his stamina into question.

Herbie is still decent and a definate test for any cruiserweight. I doubt he is capable of mounting a serious title reign but he may surprise a few people and win a version of the world title. Apart from Alexeev and Kraj and possibly Cunningham he has no one to fear and could beat any other contender.

Herbie has the speed and power to do well at Cruiser. Should never have gone anywhere near the HW's. The fight with Bowe was emarrassing!!

I can't take Herbie's career seriously any more. After nearly 19 years as a pro, he really should be fighting at a higher level than this. His opponent was a 6 round novice fighter, what was the point in that?
Seems to me he's just in it to make some cash, probably to pay off some fines or something.

I seriously think it is his promoters just bringing him on for the ride to earn some cash. Hide will be one to avoid at cruiser so I expect more of these non event fights before he gets an half decent crack at a belt.

Although Bowe claims Herbie had him out on his feet at one point in that fight.

I think he was just being polite, that fight was like a peashooter versus a Chieftain tank.
