Here comes Korobov! The mad, mad, lethal *******. I really hope this guy makes it.

This is his 6th fight in 7 months. He seemed to not want to throw the left with intent. He's just been in constant training since he turned pro. So, it's understandable that he was a little flat. They have him scheduled to fight again in 2 weeks. His managment should reconsider making him fight so often.

I can see the idea behind it. Arum probably knows what he was going to get from Calderon (a relatively boring fight) and figured the best way to get the crowd fired up was with Korobov KO'ing another fighter on his way to the top.

Turns out Calderon and Mayol had an intriguing fight and Korobov looked less than his usual brutal self. This sort of thing happens when you out think yourself.

I fell asleep from his fight tonight, first time in over a year.

There were people saying he was better than Danny Jacobs already. This fight proved to me that he isn't. He couldn't KO a guy who had been knocked out by an 0-2 fighter.

Here's an interesting statistic I just figured out.

Matt just had his 6th pro fight. His 6 opponents had a combined total of 65 fights: 36 wins, 25 losses, 4 draws. Not bad.

I thought that he looked amateurish.....still tried to score points and run around the ring...if the guy that he fought had any power he would have put him down
