doesn't look too bad, but he's not going to give Broner much trouble

Escobedo is a good fighter, if Broner toys with him props to Broner

Escobedo is a solid B level boxer. He's not bad at all. He's definitely better than anybody he has faced thus far.

I don't see him giving Broner too many problems. He simply doesn't have the physical abilities, nor the boxing skill.

He MIGHT be able to last the distance (wouldn't be a bad thing, as Broner needs some rounds), but more tahn likely it'll be Broner KO/TKO 5-8 type deal.

Escobedo can stay on the outside and stay active could pose a problem, but if he exchanges its lights out.

He's like Khan(recently), in that he doesn't know how to stay outside. But even outside, Broner is much better.

His only hope is to catch Broner with something. But for an "Olympic fighter", he really strikes me as undisciplined.

Escobedo is solid but a level below Broner. This is Broner's fight to lose.

My advice to "The Problem" stay off the ropes at all cost.
Keep it in the middle & use your gift of speed & tag him.

But Stay off the ropes, You ain't Floyd. (Defense)
    Your "Roll" ain't that good.

Like me he's from woodland, I've been watching him fight his entire career. He's a solid all around fighter with lots of amateur experience (he split with guerrero in the amateurs). That said every time he's stepped up in the pros he's been competitive bit not good enough to win. I'll still be rooting for him tho

He is not a bad fighter but also not elite. He tends to lose at the elite level every time. The thing to focus on here is Broner will finally be facing someone just as big as him. I predict this will give him problems and should take him close to the distance if not the distance.

Yeah, there's a slight chance he could work the jab over on Broner from the outside, and win some close rounds. . . But the way Broner seems to be ad******g his style towards, is more of a counterpunching pressure fighter; Broner is way too fast to have range dictated by Escobedo, and if Escobedo starts off frustrating him from the outside behind the jab, and back foot, Broner should be able to close the distance, and catch Escobedo and KO him, or stun him, and then flurry him out.

Don't think Escobedo has the speed, or one punch power to keep Broner from doing the above, if by chance he's getting outboxed soundly from the outside. . .

I hope it's competitive he seems more schooled than Ponce De Leon

And the ropes are not the place to be with Vincent as Hatesrats mentioned
