There's certainly a great incentive for Floyd now to make this fight as it will strengthen the future leverage of his company, not to mention the immediate financial benefits of producing such a fight. Perhaps he now will be more apt to making Pac an acceptable offer to get a deal done.

 

A potential Saul fight would be in next September going by your proposed timeline. This should give Saul plenty of time to gain experience given that decides to step up in competition. He has 3-4 fights to learn. Floyd's interest in a Saul fight will depend on how Saul performs in these 3-4 fights. I see Cotto(e) being among one of these fights. If Saul can convincingly beat Cotto(e), Floyd should be interested in fighting Saul. Otherwise, I can just see Saul fighting Cotto(e) in a rematch.

I haven't seen the same level of enthusiasm for a Floyd-Saul fight from Floyd as I have from Oscar, Richard, GBP, Saul, and Saul's Mexican fanbase. If the rumors are true about him being completely away from GBP, he doesn't owe them sh1t in favors. Floyd's focus is emmanroid and Sexy Sergio.
