The only thing worse than a FlIVd/Manny 2 is a rematch with McGregor which you know is going to be on the table after Mac gets crushed by Nurmo.

The first fight was boring so it don't make me want to watch the rematch.

I'd imagine the rematch would be better if the reason for Pacman's lackadaisical performance was due to an injury.

Say what you will about Pacman, but he really hasn't lost to anybody in over a decade aside from Mayweather and getting knocked out against Marquez in a fight where he almost knocked out Dinamita himself.

I've always said it's a terrible matchup stylistically for Manny , regardless of their ages, but he's been quite active the past 3 years while Mayweather had a single exhibition fight that was a bit unimpressive for his standards. He's nearing 42 years of age, I'd imagine there would be a whole lot more action in this fight since both men are well past their primes and don't have the legs they used to.

For those who say rematches always disappoint, especially when the first match itself was lackluster when compared with expectations...I present exhibit A:

GGG vs. Canelo I & II. :deal:

The former was "meh" (though maybe not as infuriatingly short of the hype mark as Mayweather vs. Pacquiao I)... the latter a consensus FOTY candidate.

Not to mention: Pacquiao is easier to hit now that when he fought Mayweather (look at the Horn fight). Mayweather is vastly easier to hit now than when he fought Pacquiao (look at the McGregor fight).

Any of you remember Cory Spinks? Widely panned as the most boring champ of his era, branded a 'runner' worse than anyone since (including Mayweather, Lara, Rigondeaux, even Dirrell's...you name it). That was in his prime, when his legs still worked. All of a sudden the last few years of his career he became stuck in quicksand and had to change his style to more of a stand and trade boxer-brawler - still pretty slick defensively but more in the James Toney "slipping punches in the pocket while firing counters" manner. And every Spinks fight down the stretch (against K9, Phillips, etc) was an entertaining WAR.

    I'm just saying.
