Old warriors just don't know when to quit.I think White is sincere not wanting Chuck to fight due to health risks.I am certain White will give Chuck a salaried position with the UFC as an ambassador for the sport.

Oh God another one of these the UFC is Dana White, and nothing is more important to the UFC than shitbags ego. Why doesn't shitbag just shut up, and allow Liddell to make his own decisions, if he keeps losing he will decide to retire himself.

So what makes you "certain" White will do this? And what the hell does "ambassador of the sport" mean anyway?

It should always be up to the fighter, its his life.

In saying that, I see the great Sakuraba losing to bums like Manhoef now & its heart breaking, in his prime he would have stretched Manhoefs arm tendons beyond repair via armbar... I hope Chuck doesnt go on THAT long.

Yeah it is extremely heart breaking. The thing is when people start losing to guys they would have beat 5 years ago they become bitter. If Chuck is smart he will retire now and spare himself a lot of bitterness.

I would hate to see him as a Ken Shamrock or a Tank Abbott.
