Following on from this thread; http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=165559&page=9

Here we go, starting with the heavyweights only first, hopefully everyone comes up with a list.

ONLY A TOP TEN AND NO TIED PLACINGS.

Scoring system is as follows: (borrowed from Rumsfield:good)

    25 points for your #1.
    15 for #2.
    12 for #3.
    10 for #4.
    8 for #5.
    5 for #6.
    4 for #7.
    3 for #8.
    2 for #9.
    1 for #10.

Shoot away, lets get some heated discussion and some interesting debate on who's going to be in here.

Ttheres one rule, from GazOC, as follows.

    Amended:

    1) To qualify for ranking a fighter must have been born in the UK or Eire or have fought for a British/ Irish title.

    Lets go.

I don't think anyone other than Lewis should be considered for numero uno. The rest will be interesting, would be good to hear from the older posters like Jeff, Tbooze etc

I think you are being over nostalgic and falling into the Classic Forum habit of overrating fighters from previous eras.

    Lewis's credentials are unrivalled.

Defeated every man he ever faced.

Avenged all his losses by stoppage.

    Conquered all worthy domestic opposition.

And so on, I would expand......

Lewis HAS to be no.1. There is no room for debate.
