    1. Lennox Lewis- Undisputed champion

    2. Bob Fitzsimmons- Another era, almost another sport but can't be discounted as much as i'd like to for this particular debate.

    3. Frank Bruno- One time champion with some decent performances against world class opposition.

    4. Henry Akinwande- Under-rated performer, former world champ with decent wins over Jeremy Williams, Zolkin, Johnny Nelson, Tony Tucker, Orlin Norris.

    5. Joe Bugner- Wins over Cooper, Brian london, Jimmy Ellis, James 'quick' Tillis, Greg Page and Bonecrusher smith plus competitive losses to peak Ali and peak Frazier. Amazing.

    6. Henry Cooper- Wins over Brian London, prime Zora Folley, Joe Erskine and Jack Bodell plus comp loss to prime Ali.

    7. Danny Williams- Wins over Harry Senior, Mark Potter, Keli Meehan, Julius Francis, Micheal Sprott, Audley Harrison, Matt Skelton, Scott Gammer, John Mcdermot and Mike Tyson.

    8. Brian London- Wins over Joe Erskine, Pete Rademacher, Billy Walker, Zora Folley, plus a very unfortunate loss to Ingemar Johnason who was unconsious at the final bell. 9. Tommy Farr- Took Louis the distance. Lost a close dec to Jim Braddock.

    10. Herbie Hide- Wins over Mike Bentt, Tucker and Rudiger May plus a belt holder.

Holdinwande is way too high at #4, surely Jeff?

I am contemplating Hide actually - his only really good win is over Tucker, but he had been battered from pillar to post by both Lewis and Tyson previously..... Bentt had a lucky 3 minutes against Morrison whilst Rudi May was stopped by Johnny Nelson.

I like your mention of Williams though, I copped a bit for that yesterday!

Bugner a better fighter anyway!!! Cooper was exposed by Patterson whereas bugner walked the walk at top level. Farrs at number 9 his record isn't that impressive! Akinwande would have beaten cooper and bugner. Hide is poor and scrapes through on the bentt win-

    1. Lewis - Undisputed champs, big wins in Holy 2, Tua, Golota, Tyson beat alot of ranked contenders. cleaned out division. H2H ranks well

    2. Fitzy boy - Cleaned out White people in his division good wins over Maher, Sharkey and Corbett.

    3. Cooper - Cleaned out European level fighters and top contenders. Fell short at the best level in 2 great champs in Patterson and Ali.

    4. Bugner - Again top European level. just fell short at top level.

    5. Bruno - Alphabet champ, good wins over top contenders.

    6. Farr - Top contender in his time good wins over contenders and european level.

    7. Sharkey - Top contender in his time.

    8. Brian London - top wins over contenders and a strong european reign

    9. Henry Akinwade - tp contender in his day

    10. Williams - strong domestic reign
