H to H is a different matter....possibly :hey . I think that Cooper was the classier technician, but I don't think that even a prime Cooper would have been able to get Bugner out of there, and with Henrys propensity for cuts anything could have happened... Bugner wouldn't have outworked Cooper so it would either have been Cooper UD or Bugner by cuts stoppage. Cop out I know.

You didn't have the good fortune :-( of being around to see Dunn in his pomp...he was truly awful. The title shot with Ali being the result of the habit of giving new Euro heavyweight champions an automatic go at the world title. Dunn was so far out of his depth that you would have needed a plumb line to find the bottom. Most embarrassing British heavyweight contender ever :deal

Awful as in genuinely awful, or awful as in brutally exposed at the top level?

By this I mean sort of John McDermott - was poor against a shot Danny Williams.... or the peak Danny Williams using the canvas as a bouncy castle vs Klitschko?

Its not quite as bad as I remembered, but Dunns legs going stiff as a board after being clipped by Ali is still as funny as ****....at least he tried taking it to the champ

Farr had some good wins if you look at his record.

Went 1-1 with former HW champ Max Baer, beat former LHW champ Tommy Loughran (at HW) and KO'd Walter Neusel in 3.

Also went the distance against Louis and dropped a split to Braddock.

Although Braddock was a poor world champion for in those days, apparently it was a controversial decision and Farr could have won it.

At least you have a picture with a top 10 heavy according to my definitive list.

    Bruce Woodcock people. Underrated IMO.
