props to Sexy Sergio for being bold and honest, Miguel Cotto can learn and take notes on how to make it seem like you want to fight Mayweather

How many ppv buys do you think Mayweather/Martinez does? He could be right about Floyd making more money

Mayweather-Martinez does less PPVs than Mayweather-manny, but Floyd gets a bigger % with Sergio instead of working a deal closer to 50/50 like he would manny

We'll get a better idea on how well Mayweather-Martinez does after the numbers for Sept 17th are dropped.

Yeah, more $$$, but PBF would also get his ass beat down worse by Sergio than what PAC would do to him.

good point, Sep. 17 will let us know a lot. Floyd made 40 mllion vs Mosley with 1.4million ppv buys and Oscar got like 52 million against Floyd with 2.4 million buys.
When/If Floyd announces this fight, they'll be a lot of excited and I could see it doing well. I just don't know if the casual fans will realize how big of a fight this is and what Floyd is going up against

Well apart from khan, who else is pbf going to fight after ortiz, unless the Pac fight happens? He may well move up for more big fights at 154, but is Martinez marketable enough? I think it's hypocritical of martinez to refuse to move up a weight division but expect pac and pbf to move up and face him when they'd obviously be outsized, though I guess you can't blame him for trying.

Floyd's good friend Ortiz was 161 on the fight night of his last fight.

Sexy Sergio was 167, Oscar must have weighed somewhere around here when Floyd fought him, coming into the Pavlik fight. I don't know how much Sergio weighed on the night of his last fight, but this gives me hope that this fight can happen.

Would love to see it, but it's never gonna happen. Serge really is too big for Floyd.

Sexy Sergio is really in "no man's land" then. If he's not too big for 154, he should go back to 154 and bag some bodies such as Angulo.

Why do you say "expect pac and PBF to move up..."?

Did Pac not fight at the JMW division for a title? Didn't PBF fight at JMW as well? They have all fought at the JMW so there should be no problem. Martinez even commented that he could come down to a catchweight of 150. Isn't that where Pac vs Margo fought?
