it depends. I'd be very disappointed in Floyd for not fighting Sergio, but I wouldn't be mad. It's hard to duck a guy 2 weight classes above you. Especially if you are 149 pounds 3o days before a WW fight.

I was really looking forward to this fight too, but when I saw Sergio's weight against Dzin, then I had a feeling it wouldn't come off anymore.

Also you must realize, that wherever the weight is at, Floyd probably won't even make weight anyways like what happened with Oscar.

I think Floyd handily beats anyone who has a draw against Cintron, Manny too.
It would mean much to boxing nuts but ****-all to the public at large, which is a shame for Sergio and guarantees it never happens.

Thanks for the reply bball. :good

I think Floyd is a natural welterweight but, like Pac, he is good enough to fight above his weight. Pac is a natural lightwelter and he's been kicking ass at 147. Why not Floyd?

I think Martinez has developed into a middleweight but I always said, if a fighter can make the weight then it's fair game. People were saying Paul Williams was too big for Pac/Floyd, sorry but that's bollocks. If he can make weight, he has every right to fight them. That example is a little obsolete now, but he deserved a shot at the big names pre-Martinez loss.

I"m fine with the fight at 154 if Sergio can sincerely make it. 150 is ridiculous and I don't want to see that and 160 would be too much for Floyd and Manny, but it's still possible

I take it you haven't watched that Cintron fight, because Martinez knocked him the **** out.

I wouldn't like to see Floyd v Sergio at 160. It's too unfair on Floyd, I give Floyd stick for not showing enough ambition but that is just ridiculous. I'd defo rather see it at 150 than 160, but 154 would be ideal.

154 is the ideal weight for a Money - Maravilla fight.
