Dude..Don't bend those wrists like that, you look like a girl, keep your wrist alligned with your forearm, locked and tight.

And you need to stop the useless twitching and shaking, waste of energy and very predictable, you twitch like a ***** getting good **** everytime you're about to throw a punch.

Before getting too excited about footwork, you should try to plant your feet and work the basics of punching. The biomechanic of a punch. When you get that down practise your punch slowly to get the technique right, and THEN build up your speed and power.

Not too bad for someone who hasn't had any formal training. A big thing I've noticed that you tend to throw your right hand way to the side instead of straight. You're over pivoting with it.

Be a succesful amateur boxer with regular fights. i feel restricted because of my location, I'll try to find people that can help me out with my boxing if I can, and the reason there's no mirror there is because I've been using the glass window there for a mirror and I just videotaped the shadowboxing without a mirror. I'm hoping to get my basics down before I go to a boxing gym next May after I move to an area with a boxing gym and graduate college. I'll be aware of all this tomorrow and work slowly on my technique and be conscious of my mistakes. I'm getting better but there's still work to be done.

You should perform the motions in slow motion until you get them perfect before trying them with the speed and intensity you are using in these videos.

When shadow boxing you should pretend you are fighting an opponent. In these videos as you have noticed yoursef, you are constantly throwing your jab and your right at two different targets. Your thumbs appear to be a strange position. You aren't tucking your chin behind your jab. You aren't turning your fists over enough at the very end of your punches. Especially for your straight right you should practice that motion in slow motion. Your right fist starts out in the correct place, and as you shoot it out you should turn the fist in a corkscrew motion so that just as you hit your opponent your palm is facing outward and your thumb is pointing towards the ground (if the thumb were sticking out instead of making a fist that is). At the same time your hips and back foot are turning with the punch, generating the power behind it. Your back ankle turns too much though, another sign that you aren't controlling your movements. Concentrate on controlling your movements more instead of throwing all your weight behind every punch. You do seem to be aware that power comes from the whole body and that is good. You are throwing yourself off balance with the right though, since you are turning too much into the punch. You end up almost freezing in place for about a second after you throw the right, and are very open to a left hook there.

When jabbing you should step into the jab with the front foot, and your back foot should not fly into the air as it does right now. Make your jabs a straight out and back in motion, your fist shouldn't move down or towards the side at all (some of your jabs are a bit hook like in trajectory). Bring the fist back to guard immediately.
