I'd like to show my talents against a fighter of his skills," Juan Diaz said. "Pacquiao just fought an older Mexican warrior. Now, he ought to fight a young Mexican warrior like me."

Pac just beat an old Warriors???? Who beat you Juan??? An old guy??? And he's a Grandpa!!! Eat your words Juan!!!!:rofl :rofl :rofl

There's probably reasons for that. I don't think Manny himself is the most educated guy out there; although I love that guy's style and personality.

its maddening seeing pinoy pac fans just casually say **** like "you have a fighter like pac, who is probably the greatest fighter of all time and..."

without hesitation! without a second thought!

It is usually unfair to generalize a group of people like that... but in the light of what this guy is saying, I am forced to agree with you about 75%. I am a pac fan, but I wouldn't put him on that unbeatable level that I've seen. Unlike many pac fans, I am a boxing fan first. Therefore I can seperate my biases for one fighter or another, and make knowledgable posts about BOXING.

Stop knocking Juan Diaz, he lost to Nate Campbell but I think he still beats Pacquiao.

Hell I think that Campbell beats Pac too by KO! Campbell can punch, he can box and he as he has great determination. Good performance on his part.

WoW so when Manny loses at some point, we can drag out any quotes he made? You speak in the present according to what has happened. Its not like he made that statement after he lost to Campbell. Cant make statements with fear of what might happen if things dont work out for you.

He is still "Mexican" and is still a "Warrior" Pacquiao at that moment probably had just beaten an older Mexican fighter (atleast in boxing years), so the statement still actually holds true.

BTW I love Manny, but his diehard fans with their blind love of him (usually countrymen) sometimes make it hard to cheer for the guy.

Now I understand where your dislike for Juan Diaz stems from. You got your panties in a bunch cause he called out Pac. Well that's what a lot of fighters do: They call out other fighters.

To address your point about fighting old fighters.

MAB and Morales have been professional boxers since they were teenagers. These are guys who have had many battles due to their style of fighting and because they always fought the best.

Nate Campbell started fighting at 24. He doesn't really fight like MAB or Morales.

Its ok to be a fan, but their is a line where you go from fan to nuthugger and you my friend crossed that line a long time ago.
