It still blows my mind how other corner never checked his glove. How can any legit corner not have caught this in all the matches he's been in until Mosley's corner did?

I think the punishment should have been harsher. But knowing how liberal California is he'll probably get reinstated.

he has to go back to cali to get his license back first. Since all the states followed suit in going along with the ban.

There is an unwritten rules where all the states abide by the ruling another state hands down on a boxer. Could Texas grant the license, yes. But this would be a first and breaking a code everyone else follows.

If California doesn't grant him his license I'm pretty sure Texas will abide by their rulling.

His sentence was one year and he will complete it with good behavior to boot.

Whether or not the punishment fit the crime is another story, but the man will have done his time soon so all you whiny, self-righteous ****s will just have to get over it.:deal

Texas is desperate for a big event and Arum has all the connections. I wouldn't be surprised if Texas gave him a license. I mean Texas gave Valero a license despite his previous medical condition when no other state would.

Chances are there will be closed door talks with Texas officials and if they get the nod they won't go back to California to beg for reinstatement. If Texas won't do it then they will likely head back to California with hat in hand unless Arum has greased the wheels over there already.

According to Arum, The Assoc. of Boxing Commisioners (ABC) states that after one year of the expiration, AM can re-apply for a license in any state. Arum said he'll go to Texas for the license.

Even though he has to go back to Cali, you know they're going to reinstate him. Why wouldn't they? Margarito drew big crowds in just about all of his "meaningfull" fights. He's a draw and he's a proven Mexican fighter. Bing. Bang. Boom.

Margarita has been in training and Arum will plug him in the March 13th undercard according to El Nuevo Dia.

It should hurt his case. That's for sure. There should have been no updates about any future opponents until he fully served that license revokation.

no....his "boxing license" is suspended in cali and cali only....meaning that he can apply anywhere...all other states just said they would follow suit and respect the ban......he could've applied in neveda the very next day if he wanted to...

Look up Luis Resto and Billy Collins. Good educational material for you to catch up on boxing history.
