Why isn't he fighting Giovani Segura to unify the titles tomorrow night instead of taking on some 16-6 bum?
Jesus Iribe isn't championship material but he's no bum. Yes he has 6 losses but look at who half of them were to. He's got a lot of heart, and he'll give it an effort even though Ivan will probably school him easily.
I ask myself the same question. There is so much talent at that level and little money to be made. Vilora, Solis, Rubilar, Mayol, Calderon, Segura, Sosa would make good money fighting each other.
