But Briggs is 78TH and nobody is complaining that Klitschko is handpicking his opponent. Nobody is saying that Klitschko has now fought Sosnowski who was around 50th ranked and Briggs who is now 78TH. That would make too much sense. You guys would rather get on Haye because he is fighting Harrison who is low ranked but he is STILL NOT 78TH! Whats equally funny is that Adamek fights Grant who is a GARUANTEED BUM and he gets praised for it yet again, Haye fights Harrison and its a sham, a travesty and a mockery...its a travishamockery hahahaha. You guys have got to start getting over yourselves and hold the Klit brothers up to the same standards that you put on the guys that you dont like. But the funny thing is, I bet I won't get ONE Klit fan to admit that they both are fighting bums, has-beens and never-coulda-been's hahahaa. Not one. :good:thumbsup:think

Also Harrison has EBU title which is always semi close to a title shot.

I am not happy with the fight but agree with you

Vitali went down the list of opponents. He made offers to other fighters and they declined, so he took the highest available fighter. Briggs is ranked 8th by the WBC.

No, it's not the greatest matchup in the world. But it is intriguing, and when other fighters are turning you down, what else are you supposed to do?

There's a HUGE difference between what the two fighters have done. Vitali was actively seeking out the best opponent possible, while Haye was avoiding the best opponents. There's no comparison.

    Very silly argument.

First of all, if the Klitschkos start wearing T - shirts with severed heads of another fighter and then find ways not to fight that guy for two years, I will be allover with with criticism. Haye doesn't get **** for fighting a low - ranked opponent, everyone does from time to time. Haye gets blasted for his trash talk, two years ago he said he only wants the Klitschkos, Wlad would be his easiest fight etc. Now he fought Barrett ten years after Barrett was KO'ed by Wlad, Valuev who was beaten more convincingly by Wlad's victim Chagaev, Ruiz who had 8 losses and now Harrison, who have never been close to Briggs or Sam Peter in accomplishments. Yes, Vitali chose Briggs, who is way past it, but I would easily favor Briggs over Harrison. Vitali also faced Peter when he was WBC champ with only one loss without a tuneup fight. He took on Lennox Lewis in 13 days notice. Haye doesn't deliver his promise to fight the Klitschkos two years after announcing he wants to fight them. And Wlad is fighting every mandatory put in front of him. Any attempt to compare Haye and the Klitschkos with their choices of opponents is quite silly. The Klitschkos are the top of the division, Haye said he wanted to get to the top. He is the one who has to proof something by fighting them, not the other way around.

all fighters u mentioned are better than Harrison and rankings are often as delusional as Haye fans. Whats more, Klits and Adamek are active fighters who have sometimes 'stay busy' fights (like active fighters). Giving Haye - you wait half a year and shout all over that he wont fight Harrison cuz he is too proud and then it happens.

Is harrison a stay busy fight? - yes
does Haye fight stay busy fights? - no, with his frequency its ridiculous to call his opponents 'stay busy' fights.
    sth is just not right...

no double standards here, I criticized Vitali for taking on Sosnowski and Briggs too.

Briggs is a former champ and a huge puncher. He would KO david haye. simple as that. Ruiz is the biggest bum boxing ever produced, Fraundley is just on the same level

should of fought klits, solis, Boystov, and chagaev instead of cashing in on a bull**** fight

Vitali low balls fighters then claims they ducked him. Briggs is a joke, Sosnowski was a bigger joke, and Kingpin was an even bigger joke!

Totally agree, but its up to all the top guys, Klits and Haye included to make the top fights happen. Harrison not much better than the Klits opponents which i agree is disgraceful too lol.

One thing i will say is that the Haye Harrison fight over the Klits fights, is that it really does make financial sense. And i believe that if it makes financial sense the fight makes sense. and i'd tell you why. When a fight makes financial sense it pretty much means allota ppl are gonna buy PPV and allot ppl are gonna be talking about it.

In the UK it is gonna be MASSIVE so therefore ppl will be talking about the sport i love. So i really can't knock this fight, but after (should Haye win), please please please fight a proper heavyfight. Although i can see Harrison knocking Haye out if he catches him an he does carry pop.

The press conference was quality haha, haven't seen good ole'smack talking in the heavy division in time, god i miss it.

When Rocky Balboa got his shot against Creed, no one bat an eyelid, and that was awarded on just having a marketable nickname. The guy wasn't even ranked!! But the man got his shot, and took it and never looked back! apart from when he had something to prove against Tarver.

But since Creed Rocky fought the likes of Clubber Lang and Ivan Drago. If Audley take beat Haye, he gets to fight his Drago in Wlad or Vitali. GIve the man a chance! he may rise to the occasion.

    The spirit of the underdog!!

Yeah, I forgot about "I'm bringing home the belt" Johnson. If he would have just closed his eyed and swung he would have maybe at least hit something but it STILL took Vitali the whole fight. I guess its a lost cause because every Klit fan will get on here and argue that Briggs is a worthy opponent just like they argued Sosnowski, Johnson, Gomez, ...

What other fight earns him this much money? If Vlad isn't willing to take 50/50 then Haye would be stupid not to take this fight. Easy fight, easy money. Take on Klitschkos next year when all the Haye haters will be begging for him to be destroyed in the ring.

You're all getting sucked in to his game whether you like or not and it is f*cking hilarious
