The Peter fight is off, but Audley will be fighting Martin Rogan-guy who won Prizefighter. The main event will see Enzo Mac's comeback and Gavin Rees is expected to be on the card as well. The card won't be at the o2 but somewhere in Wales probably.

This was in Boxing News a couple of weeks back.

What a shocker this is :smoke

From the minute it was announced by old red eye that he was in talks to bring over Peter to fight Audley i thought i had been slipped an acid in my drink.

Just more BS from Wank Warren.

Didnt Audley spank Peter easily in the Amatuers?

I know this means nothing pro wise but im sure ive heard he did a number on him, not surprising really if true as Sam isnt exactly a technical genius.

I was wondering the same to be honest, it seems to have all gone quiet on this one!

Quite frankly, I'm deeply shocked. People might start to question Frank's honesty now.

    nice one

Cant beleive Im saying this but I could see how Audley could beat Peter . Stop pawing with that bloody jab and actually throw it and he could have Peter in knots

What did you think of Peter in Peter-Toney?

Yeah Peter showed improved skills but Toney doesn't have the reach that Audley has. I dont really rate Toney at heavy , he got by on talent but to my mind his last great performance was Jirov.

Please be clear I'm not sayin Audley would do it , Im just he has the attributes that if his mind was right and he came to win I can see a way it could happen.

yeh i quote fancied Audley, he would have no chance agaisnt Chagaev or Wlad so Peter was his best shot.

Harrison is gonna be pissed about fighting Rogan, what a backwards step. He will beat him inside 2 rounds. This will do nothing for Audleys world title chances. The fights will be in NI!

Peter would almost certainly lay Fraudley out in the pro game. I think he's getting a bit underrated these days.

Peter is the bigger hitter of the two but he went life and death with Jameel McCline had all kinds of bother with a mega out of shape and way smaller Toney and although he dropped Wlad a few times he couldnt put him away ( unlike Brewster , Sanders and Purrity did ). Peter is a decent champ for this era but his skills still need improving and I think his power has been overstated a little.

This , however , is stll way more than Audley has achieved.

    Cat amongst the pigeons...

I'd fancy Haye to KO Peter

I would back Haye to box Peter's ears off and make him quit on his stool, rather than KO.
