Friday night, at the outdoor Uniprix Stadium in Montreal, hometown favorite Herman Ngoudjo and frenchman Souleymane M'Baye will fight for the right to face IBF junior welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi. Ngoudjo (16-2-0 9KO), lost a controversial decision to Malignaggi last january and is looking for a chance to get a rematch while M'Baye (36-2-1 21 KO), former WBA junior welterweight champion is looking to have another title shot after losing his belt last year to Wale's Gavin Rees in a very poor performance. Ngoudjo's other loss came a year and a half ago when he lost a extremly close split decision to veteran and possibly Hall of Famer Jose Luis Castillo while M'Baye suffered his other loss to Vivian Harris in 2003 in his first attempt to conquer a world title. On current form I have to say Ngoudjo takes a comfortable decision Ngoudjo doesn't have a fair loss yet. He's unbeaten in my eyes. He clowned Paulie clearly, landed the best punches of the fight and had him on ***** street. He brings stamina, work-rate, just a solid all-rounder with okay power M'baye was just horrible against Rees. How the hell do you lose to Gavin Rees as a self-respecting 140lb fighter? He can't be that bad again, impossible
