Maidana by murder. Ngoudjo already lost big to Urango, and in my estimation, Maidana has most of the same strengths as Urango but without a lot of Urango's weaknesses. His chin isn't as good as Urango's, but that shouldn't matter against Herman.
This pretty much sums it up. Ngoudjo can't live with brawler's because he doesn't have the style. He'll just look to stand in center of the ring and wear them down with a body attack. He doesn't have the necessarily technical skills or adaptability to box off the back-foot well enough.
Ngoudjo will win a decision since his shots are straighter, his handspeed is better, his conditioning is impeccable, and his chin is rock solid. Urango for all his flaws has decent handspeed and can shoot punches up the middle.
You must have never seen Urango fight, cause he's the exact OPPOSITE. Urango is slow as hell, and his punches are looping as hell. His saving grace is that he can punch, and has a tough chin. Maidana has much quicker hands than Urango, and punches much shorter.
I don't necessarily know about that, I've seen him live too against Bailey.. and I agree with PHILLA He was suprisingly fast against Bailey. The issue with Urango is he has been with speedy characters, thus making him look slow as molasses. Compare who Urango has fought vs Maidana in terms of handspeed. Maidana = Ortiz(decent handspeed), Kotelnik (notabley moderate handspeed) Urango = Bailey(moderate), Berto(fast as hell), Ricky Hatton (fast as hell), Ngoudjo(good handspeed, about the same as Ortiz) So, he would obviously look SLOWEr against faster opposition. Call it an optical illusion if you will.
