Sanchez leaps in and lands a left hook and right hand. Vargas steps back and flicks out body shots with his long arms from long range. Sanchez swoops in, dropping his shoulders down to his hips. Sanchez lands a jab across the face, and Vargas backs up with a combo. Vargas is keeping his hands low and backing straight up. Sanchez rushes in and goes berserk, landing jabs and rights as Vargas taps him back with body shots. BIG LEFT UPPER HOOK BY VARGAS. My god. Vargas spins and watches as Sanchez dances around on the outside. Big left hook by Sanchez as Vargas is winding up a 1-2.

Round 7

Vargas steps forward and willingly exchanges with Sanchez, but gets the worst of it by far. Hooks and looping rights crash into either side of his head as Sanchez propels himself off his toes and launches full-power shots. Vargas is trying to assert his strong left jab and push the smaller man back, but can't control his erratic hopping and constant flow of power punching. Sanchez smacks him with a high right hand and a hook and keeps coming forward. Vargas hooks the body from outside, turned over nicely. Sanchez circles to his left, and mimes a 1-2 from too far away. Jabs by Sanchez darting in.

Round 8

Big uppercuts by Vargas!! Last ditch effort, paying off! Sanchez is driving into a corner!! Vargas throws a slew of body shots, twisting and digging! Sanchez tries to shoulder into him and land his own short taps to the body. Vargas lands a HUGE uppercut to the jaw. BIG LEFT HOOK BY VARGAS! Hook by Sanchez diving in, and Vargas slaps him in the side of the head with a looping right. Long right hand by Vargas connects. Sanchez dances around, resets, and comes darting in with a jab and uppercut - missing. Vargas turns in and out while circling to his left, making Sanchez miss his jabs. Wild scooping right to the body by Sanchez. Vargas stalks him and lands a hook.

Marquez opens up, right hooks and overhand lefts!! Mepranum is backed up to the ropes. Marquez lands a right hook in an exchange as Mepranum is teeing off and missing. Mepranum lands a right hook. Bombs both ways!! Diving left to the body by Marquez. High left hand lead to the guard by Mepranum. Double straight left by Marquez!

Mepranum jabs at the body. Marquez sweeps with a right hook. Left hand down the middle by Marquez. Mepranum falls in with a right hook and they lean together. Ref calls for a break. Jabs up top by Mepranum. Right hook to the navel by Marquez. Now a right hook to the face as Mepranum misses his own hook. HUGE RIGHT HOOK BY MARQUEZ, AND MEPRANUM IS DROPPED HARD. He laughs while getting up, playing it off as though not that hurt. Clinch. Left hand lead by Marquez, lunging in. Clinch. Mepranum dances outside and loads up a big overhand left of his own. It lands on the neck/shoulder of Marquez. Mepranum circles right. Hooks and uppercuts by Mepranum.
