Marquez said he hurt his hand, causing him to slow his output in the last couple of rounds. He probably assumed he had the fight in the bag with the two kds. I had Marquez edging it.

At least Mepranum put up a fight and almost won it. Hopefully the kid comes back even stronger after this fight. Wouldn't mind seeing a trilogy with both fighters preparing to fight EACH other.

Wouldn't mind seeing that in the Pacquiao-Bradley undercard, but I definitely won't expect it.

It's true, I am salivating at a third Marquez vs Mepranum fight!!! Would HBO or Showtime pick it up? They wouldn't regret it!!!

There's talk of Marquez facing Viloria, should he get past Romero. That's a much more ppv worthy fight than a ten round trilogy between these two lol

Hernan Marquez should be in line for a decent high profile payday after being involved in FOTY candidates over the past two years.

Unification bout between Viloria and Marquez should be next.

For some reason I find a Jaro-Marquez fight intriguing. If the Jaro that battered Wonjongkam shows up, there's a FOTY candidate in the making.

Wouldn't mind seeing this fight either but I think Jaro caught lighting in a bottle. Would probably be destroyed by Marquez.

Any combination of Marquez, Viloria, Wonjongkam, Jaro, Mthalane, and Segura would be a dream.

The only interesting fight for Pong at this point of his career is a Jaro rematch, and a Segura-Jaro rematch might turn out like the first fight. Mthalane needs to get out of South Africa again and start fighting these top flyweights, 112 is becoming a very interesting division.
