Although Joe would be favourite, Dawson would no way be Lacy all over again. Dawson is a damn good fighter and would give Joe serious problems.

Would like to see Enzo get some rounds in next, blow outs do nothing for him so interesting to see who they match him with now.

Rees deserves a big fight, will be a test for Clazaghe promotions to see if he gets it. I'd love to see Rees v Mitchell or Murray and I believe he beats the snot out of em.

Sure blowouts do something, build up his confidence, an area he must be severely lacking in to fall so far so quick.

Unfortunately the Ellis fight did nothing for him as he was sparked in the next 2.

I think he needs another fight before going for the winner of Norton/Dolan.

This really is his last chance so he needs to build slowly.

I don't get some of the negativity

It was a great weekend for domestic boxing and some people aren't happy unless they poke holes in it.

Khan, very difficult to judge on 1 round but he was facing an unbeaten fighter who was selected by the WBA not Frank Warren (or at least that's what we've been lead to believe). He has been working on power and it showed...

Rees, might have only be fighting domestic fighters but he still had to win and he looked different class. He's still very niave in the way he boxes but I think he knew in order to win the Prizefighter he had to be.

Enzo, still a legend IMO. Delighted to hear he's back on track

Simpson, made Bell look ordinary.. bring on Lindsay

Gavin, deserves a mention because of the flack he had on here before the fight. Remained conservative at the start of the fight but managed to up the tempo when required... **** stoppage but you can't blame Gavin for that.

    probably the most impressive:
Mitchell, I didn't think he could do it but he had me on the edge of my seat/couch for 12 rounds. Great performance

Neither do I. It wasn't a dreadful bill, and Khan, Mitchell and Simpson all did what they had to do.

here I disagree with you. That fight told us nothing really, and the man was hardly a legend, was he?

Good weekend for domestic boxing. Khan looked quality and has impressed me more over his last few fights than he has his entire career thus far. I know a 70+ second blow out tells us nothing, but the first right hand was perfectly placed and he did look as good as he possibly could against Salita (while it lasted) and you can't ask anymore than that.
No matter who he fights, unless they can get to his chin he's going to prove very difficult to beat.

Kevin Mitchell was fantastic and really deserves the plaudits he gets for the Prescott fight. It was a genuine high risk fight, and beforehand I may have even favoured Prescott (Kevin hasn't always had the greatest defence and Prescott can bang big time, plus seemed a lot bigger). However, for me it was the most impressive performance of the weekend and Kevin boxed brilliantly. I hope now he gets a few opportunities come his way, he may well be a serious force on the world scene if he continues his improvement.

Simpson proved too much for Bell, as many suspected though I didn't entirely write Bell off beforehand. For me Simpson is getting better and better and, along with Jason Booth, he's one of those unsung heroes of British boxing who doesn't seem to get any press but are real quality fighters, amongst the best domestically.

Rees did very well to win Prizefighter, and proved me wrong as I dismissed his chances beforehand. Turns out Prizefighter was made for him! I think the whole tournament was little lacklustre compared to what was expected, but Rees still beat some quality men and did what he had to do.

That was more a personal opinion than a factual statement.. I just loved watching him fight (before Haye). He was one of/the most exciting boxer to watch at that time and would love to see a comeback because I think he has the tools to get back where he once was

Fleaman you must be absolutely delighted now that it looks like PBF versus Pacman will get it on each March to finally determine who is pound for pound number 1. As you know I was dissappointed for Miguel Cotto that his fight with Pacman did not go the way he would have wanted but definitely we can see that the improvement in Pacman's boxing evidenced in the David Diaz fight are now in built. Based on both guys last fights we can see that both PBF and Pacman should be going into the contest in top form. I have never seen anyone make Marquez look outclassed. I am picking PBF to stop Pacman.
