Seeing the Brendon Ingle clip on the Bunce hour last night reminded me that Herol was European Champ at light middle before moving up to middle to face Sibson.

Could have he moved on to a World title a light middle or had he outgrown the division by then?

He wasn't ready at that stage. He even looked pretty "coltish" at the weight IIRC.

(He never got the Sibson fight, Sibbo didn't someone like Graham at that stage of his career)

  3. Any thoughts on a potential Sibson/Graham match?

Not seen enough of Sibson tbh (hardly anything) but he took his lumps against Hagler who said that he had a fair bit in his fists, which is a compliment in itself.

Graham was obvioisly supremely skilled but prone to bad lapses in concentration, which meant.... :dead

Sorry this was before I started following the sport. Sibson vacated and he won the vacant British belt.

Might be controvesial, but I think Herol's skillset is overrated. He was more awkward/talented then supremely skilled. Had some flaws that are overlooked, imo. He'd beat Sibson though.

As mentioned, Graham did not mature as a world class fighter until he moved up to 160.

As for Sibbo/Bomber; in the time frame it could realistically of happened (say 85-88), Graham would of won easily. Watch the Sibbo/Tate fight to see what could of happened, had they met back then.
