    I dunno. Bennie's relentlessness was unprecedented then and now, but as tough as he was, he still lost to a lot of insignificant opposition

    This is absolutely true. Good points. However Bennie had close to 100 fights over a 16 year career. I honestly believe that if you average 6 fights a year for 16 years, you are bound to lose on several occasions, even against guys you're better than.
