Two Top-rated Southpaws who were top of the "Who Needs Him " Club, when Climbing the World rankings, In some quarters Herol was Classed as Untouchable at Lt-Middle, and seemed to Carry that Houdini Gene up to Middle, But found a couple of Locks he couldnt Quite Unpick, Even then he had Talents Like Mike McCullam and Kalumba looking much frustrated, Of Course he came within a Whisker of winning the title against Julian Jackson when JJ Recued the Situation - With Herols Help - with that All-Time Classic KO Punch, Lady Luck certainly seemed to have the Hump with Herol on Occassion

Ronnie Could Probably Sympahise,,With Fine Victories over such as Alan Minter and Gretian Tonna He only lost two, Unfortunately One was a World Title Shot against the Under-rated Hugo Corro, and the Other.. Like Herol.. Getting Nailed by the Erratic But Thunderous Punching Slammin' Sammy Nesmith.. So two Very Classy smooth Boxing Birds of a Feather...So Who rules the roost Herol or Ronnie ?

Wow this would be a boring fight. Harris was a very good fighter. I think he had a better chin than Herol. Herol was a better mover. I think Harris beat a slightly better quality of opposition. In a 15 round fight, I'll go with Harris by split decision.

I'll take your word for it. Because I probably would've fallen asleep somewhere around the 4th round.

Graham was hardly a boring or particularly safety first fighter, so i doubt this would be a dull fight...Harris was pretty busy too most of the time.Could be ugly\messy though.

If Harris choked and fights well within himself like he did against Corro, Graham would put it on him and get very aggressive, probably go for the stoppage.

Could be interesting and close if the fight is in America or a non-title bout, but if we assume it's a world title fight-especially one in Britain- i just can't give Harris the benefit of the doubt given the way he fought against Hugo.He had better tools than Corro, but just went into a shell and let himself be outworked.

A rubbish performance that showed a real lack of big fight mentality in front of the hostile Argie crowd..Graham had his own problems winning "the big one" in terms of world title fights, but it was more down to lesser flaws being exploited by a great fighter(McCallum), and overconfidence\questionable ring-generalship...at least he actually had the bottle to maintain his nerve, throw punches and give a performance that lived up to much of his ability.

A shame Harris was so fragile mentally, as he was a beautifully balanced smooth mover with great handspeed a top rapid-fire jab and double hook.

Just a matter of a clash of styles. I likened Harris-Graham to Harris-Sugar Ray Seales, which was a snoozer. Harris could be involved in exciting fights with the right fighter. I thought his fight with Alan Minter was breath-taking. Both fighters hands were like blurs, but I can't see it with this one.
