Sergio is way smarter than he gets credit for, and he had a competitive drive and a clutch instinct that Herol had none of. Graham was slick and fast as hell, but Martinez would have mixed it up between leading and letting Graham lead, and he would have outworked him and lead and tallied enough points to win.
....like every other time he stepped into a world title bout? An unscrewed bolt is 'too loose', Herol seemed to find a way 'to lose'.
I saw Graham a few times ,he was very quick and elusive , but like all the Ingle fighters he bored the **** out of me. That chin up in the air stance that was just begging to be clouted , if it hadn't have been Jackson someone else would have eventually connected. Not Martinez though. I can't decide on a winner , but it would be by decision imo. I'd probably miss it because I would be asleep.
I saw him versus mccallum that one could of gone either way . Graham was one of the Ingle fighters that I actually found quite watchable ( most of the time ). I was also at mccallum versus Watson and remember being amazed how mccallum/Watson was like man against boy . Then thinking to myself how good graham was and that Watson would have no chance against graham
You are right; but in a fight that always looked too close to call, 'The Bomber' goes and does his party trick (ducking low and then coming up, tossing his opponent head first over his shoulder) and rightly got punished for it, which I believe cost him the draw; Martinez would not make that mistake...
