I'd go for Norris myself, a more forceful fighter who would land more punches. Graham would probably be content to sit back and counter but Norris was quick-handed and would outwork Graham for a points win. I'd bet Herol would make him look average though. Few looked good against him.
I go for Herol here. He was a better puncher than given credit for and with his own fast hands against someone coming looking for him who could be hit and hurt, Graham by tko.
Herol actually ended a guys career. He had to be taken out of the ring on a stretcher. And look at what he was doing to Jackson.
terry norris. reason being is that every hard hitting, fast handed fighter that fought herol gave him alot of trouble. terry on the other hand was very good at making counterpunchers fall apart. my whole belief is based on how terry norris treated paul vaden. a tall lanky fighter who was a very passive and a dangerous lead puncher very similar to herol. got outboxed and shut out. what made herol dangerous was that guys who were neither boxers nor inside fighters usually found themselves stuck in no mans land when fighting him.norris is too confident in his own boxing abilty to look for a ko. terry UD 12
Graham had not peaked as a fighter at 154, so I take Norris to just have the edge in experience, an intresting rather than exciting match up. Norris WU15 (9-6)
Norris would get knocked out.His chin is just too poor. Graham had his flaws too, but he could turn brawler easily and was a bigger much stronger fighter than Norris.I think his tendency to foul and spin fighters would really **** the volatile Norris off. Those four\five punch combo's would really bother Norris though Graham would get hit a fair amount himself. Graham KO between 5-9 in an ugly sloppy fight.
LOL it would of been funny seeing Norris getting flipped over Graham's back, when The Bomber does his party trick, it would almost be worth the point deduction!
Or thrown onto the canvas five times in a single round. Graham was the dirtiest middleweight this side of Hamsho and Hopkins. There's a good chance he would have been DQ'ed had he fought more outside of Britain imo.
I don't think Graham would get hit a lot at all, unless he decided to force the pace and become more aggressive. That's where he came unstuck. He can be elusive and not get hit for 12-15 rounds but sometimes this isn't enough to win fights, especially in American rings with their emphasis on aggression. He became more aggressive in round 4 against Julian Jackson because he was a round away from winning the fight and we all know what happened there... I think Norris is fast enough to get some punches home against Graham but if Herol does his fancy dan elusive stuff I can't see even a speedster like Norris having too much offensive success. However, he'd win the fight with Graham in that mood cos his negativity would not go down well in an American ring, assuming the fight took place in one. I either think Graham stops Norris early or Norris wins an UD.
Dont think Herol could win a decision Dopple? I actually think the reverse if Norris is winning its by KO or as Mante said possibly by DQ...Herol could win by stoppage or points. I do side with Herol here...better matchup for him as Norris isnt the puncher that Jackson was and Terry's durability had its limits aswell. Herol stops him around the 10th.
He can win a decision but it depends where the fight is. In a UK ring Graham can win because the judges will score his defensive work more than in a US ring, where they will see him as negative. I really think that Graham's chin might have been a little suspect, partly because he was never used to getting hit at all. A bit like RJJ in that regard. If you're not used to taking punches it's not going to help when you suddenly get hit by a belter, like Jackson's right hand. Graham punches respectably enough and I think he can stop Norris, who had a terrible chin for a top fighter, early.
Nah. I'd say his chin was something like a 6 out of 10. Not overwhelmingly mediocre, but below being solid.
