Will there ever be another defensive fighter from Britain who is as good, possibly even better than Graham?

I feel like I've really missed out on the golden era of British boxing in the early 90s and I'd love to see the same class/caliber come out of Britain again.

Chris Eubank is one of the best defensive fighters from the 80's-90's era....:yep

Herol Graham was unique...one of a kind, only one person boxed like Graham... and that was Graham...:good...

Johnny Nelson deserves some love. He barely got hit in his career.

Chris Eubank had perhaps teh worst footwork in terms of punching i have ever seen in a top class fighter, im surprised he didnt fall flat on his face when he missed!

a good shout just not as smooth and aesthetically pleasing as Graham

You are more likely to see more Ricky Hattons.

    good point actually

a brawler can get that fan base and maybe get boosted up and take easier fights and get a better career. A defensive figther has to be really really good to get to a high level. They actually have to be better than a brawler.

He made McCallum look stupid in the ring at times in their fight, not many fighters can say that.

Good shout. Unfortunately he'll only be remembered by many casual fans for getting ****ing banjoed by Julian Jackson. What they don't remember is that Graham was taking Jackson to school completely. I didn't see it live but I'd say it was even more shocking and sickening to watch as it happend. Top notch fighter though

Herol Graham was at his best a 'fast cutie' rather than 'Defensive genius'.

I think defensively, post World War II no one in Britain is topping Ken Buchanan.
