Herrera Upsets Provodnikov!!

    wat a close fight. it looked like ruslan was landing more pwoerful shots but they gave it to herrera pretty convincingly . wat do u guys think?

    Gotta love boxing. it was a close fight. final scores were 116-112(2X), 115-113

    I didn't get to see the whole fight because I was at work, but I was actually surprised by Herra in the first round how well he was holding Ruslan off.

    It wasn't that close. RP was far more effective, lost two or three rounds at the most. 117-111 RP.

    duno bout a robbery. Herrera was landing shots they just didnt have a large effect on ruslan(ala Calzaghe) but he was def landing.

    I had a 116-112 for Provodnikov. Herrera... He cant win this Fight! Thats Impossible. A robbery against the undefeadet Prodpect? Whats that? A Joke? A misstake by the Announcer?

    It was close but Provodnikov should have gotten the nod with that same range of scores.

    You can't help be happy for Mauricio Herrera, all the same. He fought his heart out and isn't responsible for the judges' actions...only his own.

    Fight was competetive but I had Ruslan clearly edging it. I am still expecting them to announce they accidently said Herrera when they ment Ruslan.

    Damn.

    On the flip side to (imo) the bad decision, it really was a great display of toughness by both these warriors.
