I'm starting to think the Mexican Mafia is getting involved in west coast boxing.

I think 116-112 was wide. 115-113 Herrera or a draw. 115-113 Pv could be justified too. Not a robbery, just 2 bad scorecards.

What a great fight a real tough contested great TV fight these two should get more air time

Tough to call the announcers were all Provodnikov but Herrera was giving it his all

a total contrast in styles a puncher vs a high volume soft handed guy

Herrara landed a lot of jabs and some real good combinations he landed clean a lot but never seemed to stun him though he looked like he may have caught Ruslans attention at the way end with a few rights that made him turn

Overal I didnt score the fight and my guts says Ruslan but I watched for entertainment value tonight and didnt score it or watch closely enough to score it

Herrera did fine in 1 and 2 b4 the swelling and also came up big in the last 4 rounds fighting hard despite the ringside officials wanting to end it he in my book won the last 2

I wanna rewatch this and score it myself b4 I make a decision on the result

This has enhanced the reputation that Euro level athlete's get robbed in America, no wonder after this and the Kotelnik fight, no doubt Pirog would of been robbed vs Jacob if it went the distance.

You seem to change what you look for in a fighter judged on their nationality :patsch, let me get this clear are you saying Herrera landed harder cleaner shots than Pro?

nah man u misunderstand me. i said i value harder cleaner shots over pitty pat shots. so i thought both hopkins and provodnikov won. but i was saying that judges obviously dont see it that way for they gave it to calzaghe and Herrera.

Provodnikov needs a lot of work if he wants to go championship status.

It's clear that Provodnikov was robbed clean and dry by the biased judges. Even a blind man could see that Ruslan deserved the nod. A typical example of tough, Euro-level fighters being robbed in you biased country.
