I'm surprised at how much of a rush his management seems to be in. His weight is important of course but it is not the sole determining factor. I'd say let - is it "Pops"? -and Wolfe (if she is still his trainer) do their thing. They should know when he's ready, but not before they have even seen him. It's great to see him (almost) free.
Good to now! He will never get the Hopkins attitude after his stay behind the bars but I just hope he learns from it. Excited to see him fight anyway
I'm certainly happy that Kirkland will be out but I sure hope he learned his lesson. I can't wait to see him back in action. Light heavyweight is a super division with names like Pacquiao, Margarito, Cotto, Angulo, Martinez, Williams, Cintron, Clottley, and Mosley I'm sure Kirk will not have a hard time landing a meaningful fight when he is ready.
Good, now get his ass back in shape and back into the ring again for a brutal showdown with Angulo... I never thought Kirkland would go far quite honestly, but even I can't deny the awesomeness that would come from a collision between he and Angulo.
