You think he'd be as good against the guys Saad was facing? Because I don't.

People go on about the skill gap,but lots of Saad's opponents were more skilled but he found a way. I like Ward I think he's fantastic but he doesn't beat Saad

I really rate Ward. Like Sweet_Scientist I guess we'll have to see more from Ward before we know his ceiling, but I'm done being surprised by him, he's ace.

I don't think there really is much of a skill gap.

Ward is cagier and better defensively, but Saad is the better textbook boxer-puncher, especially offensively.

Sweet is right about it being too speculative though.Ward may yet have more to show, or yet to be revealed weaknesses.

Not a good fighter but a very good puncher...did miranda land anything of significance?

No. Arthur didn't really either, though he did land some jabs early on from what I remember.

Wow, MSM gets a lot of support around here. I never viewed him as a great fighter. A courageous one, and gutsy, but not great. All the fights I seen him in were "you hit me, I hit you" fights for 10 or 15 rds until someone drops and MSM is a bloddy mess. For some reason people like to overrate certain fighters they enjoyed watching from the past simply because they were exciting. As for who would win, at this point, Ward is still proving himself, so it's anybody's guess...
