    sorry i enjoy fighters with great offence and a good enough defence. As much heart as margarito has unless the fight turns out like the first margarito cotto fight where you dont know whatll happen, i dont enjoy watching guys who get hit all the time, its more frustrating than entertaining.

    I might have done a horrible job of getting my point across, I don't always have a way with words.

    I'm not going to try to convince everyone that Huck or Maidana are superior boxers, I'm not talking about bum fights or guys feet cemented in the center of the ring going blow for blow and I am definitely not talking MMA.

    I am saying that footwork and head movement is a huge part of boxing, but only if you use it to set up offence. If you break through your opponents guard and open him up, make it count. Saul Alvarez is referred to a bum around here because he gets hit, yet people don't get that maybe he wants the opponent to engage because it opens them up for when he returns fire, offence is his defence. When you are getting blasted you're not exactly thinking of how you can hurt him, you just want to not get hit anymore and go into a defensive shell. People ignore his good punching technique, he's not throwing haymakers and that is obvious. Jabs, crosses, uppercuts etc etc. But no, after a Canelo fight all that is said is that his defence sucks and his opponents defence was even worse. KO's are taboo in boxing I guess. It's better to throw one punch at a time and clinch, you will get far more respect on esb then letting your hands go, mesmerizing your opponent with superior hand speed and technique.

    And I remember Salido/lopez was called a bum fight by you which further proves my point. Salido knew the odds were against him so he went for a KO, nevermind that he forced Juanma to abandon his boxing strategy of the first few rounds, nevermind that he made Juanma brawl with him whether he liked it or not, Salido's offense had nothing to do with it, Juanma is a bum.

    You can use offense and still have a strategy, it doesn't mean you are simply a brainless brawler.

    No you did get your point across, I actually don't think this is reason canelo gets stick, its because of the protection.

    I love action fighters. Guys like Gatti, Ward, and now Kirkland and Rios. They are exciting and excite non-boxing diehards. These are the fighters I show casual fans.

    Mayweather I can see purists appreciating, Wlad, well, I don't see why anybody would put themselves through that.

    I like both. It would be boring if eveyrone had the same style of hit and don't get hit or offensive styles. I enjoy all kinds of styles, not just one in particular.

    Trolling,spoiled fan boy critics will ALWAYS ***** and moan as long as they can log in on the internet,blog etc..

    A fighter fights a "smart" fight he is running,if he throws bombs,then he is a reckless bum to some.. The internet has just enabled all the trolls who never laced a pair of gloves and act like boxing is all fun and games..
