Marvin Johnson blew away Mate Parlov on Dec 2 1978, it is a shame that John Conteh was robbed against Mate Parlov in June 1978.

It's all good. Enjoy having a new person on the site who's passionate and wants to engage in respectful debate.

If you want to reach out to someone individually, though, you can always start a conversation so you direct message them rather than a thread which everyone else can see.

It was a masterful, artistic, unhurried, impressive and utterly satisfying performance by Eddie.

Totally agree with that. I do think that he and George are just having a bit of friendly banter tbh. And he's genuinely interested in boxing. Not like a certain troll that s made specific threads aimed at me, who had no interest in boxing and just liked **** stirring. But he's on ignore now lol.

Get Marvin's career set and you won't be disappointed. And the Emebe fight is well worth a watch.

thnx for all the support guys, I will make it a point to check out Johnson-Emebe. It does not sound like a classic matchup to me, but then again underdogs have given the great champs unbelievable tussels thru the years.
