Agreed all the way. He is too muscular. Lacy could probably be a middleweight if he dropped some of that muscle. His punches are heavy clubs, but not snappy KO punches. His left hook is gone and he was pushing his jab out. I don't think he'll ever be the same fighter he was against Reid or Pemberton.
I totally agree. I was expecting Lacy to come out and annihilate Manfredo. Instead he looked slow, ponderous and very one dimensional. He is well and truely shot at this point.
Lacy didn't look great, but it was his first fight after a long layoff and major shoulder surgery. I think I'll give him another fight or two before I throw the dirt on the grave of his boxing career.
Lacy is my hero. Garyshaw said Lacy is suppose to fight Tarver next once he beats Manfredo, but Lacy doesn't want anything to do with Tarver or Shaw, which means Dawson can't fight Tarver, and that means Dawson now has to fight Diaconu.
Well it's just part of it . . . that loss to JC, plus the injury and the long lay off . . . resulted to this. A complete loss of confidence. :yep
2-3 years after the surgery the shoulder will be fully healed. it is impossible to throw big left hooks 12 rounds long because that would be a risk.....his prime weapon has gone away and he will NEVER be the same.
