Win or lose against Barnett is one thing ...but saying that fedor's entire career was just pure luck ? Give me a break....who the **** is this **** anyway ? is that him ? http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Robin-Black-35433 Here's the video interview... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6iv7L05FsyM
what a stupid ***, i hope he was joking. Fedor is the best of the best and you can't take **** away from him. he is gonna own barnett.
ppl exaggerate. If Fedor lost to brock, it wouldn't surprise me and gravity will still exist shortly after.
Well anyone can get caught with a right hand. Brock's hands are big enough that he KO's anyone he hits. Anything is possible. Fedor could certainly be on the slide. As of this writing - Fedor is too seasoned, too smart and too much Fedor for Brock to handle. Give it some time -let Brock learn his craft first.
I stopped listening when that gook said "..fortunate turn of events". Typical fanboy bull****. This is the one thing i hate about MMA. Too many guys support fighters alone and thats it and somehow that has to magically transpire into any crap views they have.. Some of them are soooo uneducated it isnt funny.
I actually do think Fedor has been somewhat "lucky" in that some of the fighters hes faced has made miserable mistakes that an elite shouldnt make ie. AA. However, Fedor was able to capitalize on those mistakes and win. Fedor is great but not an unbeatable force. I definitely think hes beatable and the bottom line is other than AA, Timmy is last 5-6 opponents have been miserable. Lindland is a MW, HMC is a freakshow, Hunts a kickboxer with a 5-5 MMA record, Zulu is a joke, Coleman is old, roided up and simply not very good. These are not the fighters Fedor should be fighting. After Barnett I really dont see the point in not signing with the UFC. UFC simply has more depth than what else is out there outside of it. If Fedor is not willing to sign with the UFC I really dont see the point in contuing to fight. Fighting guys like Overeem, Werdum, Monson dont make much sense. Just retire as the #1 in MMA history and call it a day. And Robin Black is an idiot. MMA really does have alot of douchebags involved in this sport.
I don't think Dana is offering him what he wants, contract-wise. I've heard UFC contracts are terribly unfair toward the fighter, and he probably makes more money in the likes of Affliction than he would headlining for the UFC. He may not have that many good opponents, but you can't blam e the guy for wanting to fight on his own terms. So the reason he wouldn't join UFC and he'll keep fighting is money. He's making a shitload. that Black character is a total ****in' clueless ***** as well, I think Fedor would beat Lesnar. at least the guy conducting the interview or whatever was speaking some sense.
Lucky since 2001 ? .... Maybe he should play the lottery... ps: i don't think anyone believes that he's "unbeatable" though...
But coming to the UFC and fighting Mir or Nog for the 20th time or the 3-1 Lesnar does make sense? Come on I can make an arguement for or against anybody as far as the HWs are concerned, bottom line Fedor has beaten everyone he has ever fought whether good bad or a freak. What is he suppose to do? Fight everyone who has entered a ring/cage until the end of time? Fedor can only fight one guy at a time.
