Your making the mistake of believing boxrec, we all have done it, but for someone with your post count that is a no no :D . Margarito is still holding out for DLH I believe. Regardless of who he fights this year, a Williams rematch will not take place until next year anyway so I don't get what all the complaining about avoiding Williams is about.

    Wrong.

    http://www.***********.com/?m=show&id=15290

Despite talk that Zab Judah would still land the fight [rumors that were squashed by Top Rank head Bob Arum], talks are ongoing to match WBA welterweight champion Antonio Margarito against the new IBF champion Joshua Clottey in a unification rematch on November 1.
Arum told Steve Kim of MaxBoxing that he would be meeting with the officials of Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. The event would be carried on pay-per-view, but the twist here, is that Arum is looking to place the card on Showtime's pay-per-view arm, and not the pay-per-view outlet of HBO.
"It would be a pay-per-view event, it's a big card and it would be distributed by us and Showtime," Arum said.
The move by Arum to place the fight with Showtime is several maneuvers rolled up into one. The biggest is to show HBO that if he can't get a date for his fighters, he will take them elsewhere.
Clottey lost a unanimous decision to Margarito in 2006. He was easily outboxing Margarito to win the early rounds before suffering a hand injury at which point Margarito took over the contest and threw a record number of punches over the twelve-round contest.

Right, whether he fights Judah, Clottey, DLH, or nobody, a Williams rematch would not occur until next year. Yodaddy is correct.

I consider Williams the TRUE WW Champion of the World, then. Marg is a titleholder until he faces his Father, like Luke in "Empire Strikes Back"

Exactly. I heard from a guy who's cool with Floyd Mayweather and he read on a site that Floyd told him that he was afraid of Margo.

    It must be true!

And yea that JMM killed me lol.. was hella stupid even though the pictures are completely legit.

Why would you state this, but leave out the rest...When PW said that he offered him the rematch right there, he said OK.

You make it sound as though Margo asked, and that's all we know. If you took the time to listen to the interview, present the information you acquired in a fair manner.

Yes cause what did Margo do that was deserving of a fight with Floyd besides beat Cintron and lose to Santos and Williams?
