Why do you bring up Vitali? How is that relevant to Ortiz's quitjob last night?

Vitali silenced his critics when he showed loads of heart against Lewis, what has Ortiz done ever since he quit against Maidana (easily one of the most unnecessary and pathetic quit jobs I've ever seen)? He was knocked out cold by Floyd when some people say he might gotten up and quit with a broken jaw when other boxers managed to endure more than three rounds with such an injury.

Arthur Abraham is definitely a bad-ass mutha-****a, but he did not win "convincingly". He got a hometown decision. Still, kudos to him for fighting with a broken jaw for 8 rounds. (If I remember correctly, Miranda broke Abraham's jaw in the 4th round.)

Yeah Arthur deserves credit for being pretty tough sob. I have been supporting him long time. That being said after super six I finally had to acknowledge his boxing skills are pretty bad. He has been getting his ears boxed off and getting his Jaw cracked into million pieces but King Arthur is going nowhere there.:smoke

And there is always that chance AA lands his haymaker bomb and will rip his opponents head off. Long swinging for King Abraham:good:smoke

 

As I said in another thread today, AA only lost to the clear number one and the clear number 2 of the division. Does that mean he's a "complete garbage" in that weight division ? I don't know. :hat

 

His jaw looked just as bad as Ortiz's jaw. All Ortiz had to do was last a few more rounds, but his jaw was ****ed up.

 

Ali fought with a broken jaw against Norton and Malignaggi fought with a broken jaw against Cotto. I can't imagine what it feels like to get punched in the face with a broken jaw, but that's why I am not a pro fighter.

 

Bull****, vast majority of people that watched the fight saw Abraham win this legit.
Just because it was a broken jaw and in germany made people hop on the bandwagon assuming it was a bad decision.

Miranda fouled like crazy including 1 of the most intentional headbuts i ever seen (which could have gotten him straight DQd)
He kept fouling the entire match and was deservedly docked so many points he had no chance of winning anymore.
But even without those it was a close fight with Abraham landing the cleaner effective punches untill the last round where he went into full survival mode.

And to top it off he knocked Miranda the **** out in the rematch at Mirandas prefered weight in his backyard.
