No, I'm not, you are pretending I am to make it seem like I am bias.

If Pac wants to move up and challenge for a title, he should move all the way up, not half way.

    So what?

Pac was moving up, everytime he moves up he should get a free pass a title first?

It's not even about that, it's about you are justifying the CW with stupid reasons.

Catchweights are dumb, and you essentially want to give Manny a free pass every time he moves up.

I mean look, if he plans to move to 154 for one more title, you are already saying the CHAMPION has to give into a catchweight.

    Give me a damn break.

Apparently, catchweight has been recently discovered by ESB posters. You guys are worst than Boxrec "experts".

Man I ain't reading the whole thread, but the logic in the few posts I read is ridiculous.
Gotta start using your heads people.
Pac's team probably wanted 142-143 or something. Something that would have given him more of an advantage. Cotto probably said no.. so they moved to 145 a weight that Cotto agreed to because he probably felt he could make it no problem. Not to mention he weighed 146 in his previous fight. Therefore at 145 they both did not get what they wanted. This is negotiations...

    Before the PAC-Cotto fight.

    May 2, 2009
    PAC's last division fought - 140 lbs.
    PAC's last weigh-in weight - 138 lbs.

    June 13, 2009
    Cotto's last division fought - 147 lbs.
    Cotto's last weigh-in weight - 146 lbs.

PAC-Cotto was then agreed at a catchweight of 145 lbs. which seems fair to both sides. ;)

I didn't see any problem with this catchweight. It's very fair whichever way you look at it.

What's the point of having belts for an entire division if everyone is just going to catchweight everything? If you're too damn small for that weight class then don't fight there.

That' the problem with Manny Pacquiao... Yes he has accomplished alot in the sport, but how? He has been cherry picking his opponents. This is sad, that's why I can't give him the merit he deserves. You can say whatever you want, but it's the truth.

Mention Manny's last fight with a Top contender in his prime, whitout draining them? :huh Maybe we can say the same about Floyd, but it still doesn't make Pac look any better... In fact, Pac fought a drained DLH when floyd had already beaten a younger and 154 DLH. Then he fought Hatton when Floyd had already beaten him and he was looking way past his prime against Lascano. Lastly he asks Mosley to come down to 142, Mosley says no, then decides to DUCK him. I can't believe how *******s give **** Floyd by beating the man Pacroid ducked.

That's why Floyd is going to beat Manny... Unlike his past opponents Floyd is so much better and not only that, Floyd won't bend over to Roach/Arum. He won't be drained and it won't be at catchweight. Pac is going down, be ready.

if the 2 lbs aint much then why so many people bring it up in floyd vs marquez? or why wouldn't pac fight mosley @ 145?
