Troll thread. It is posters like this that make boxing fans dislike haye.

Madballster made a valid point and you just rebutted it?

Admittedly haye haters have also posted ridiculous post's as well.

Explains why both wlad and haye aren't too popular at the moment.

Serious discussions on this topic cannot take place because of all the nuthugging and preconceptions that people have.

Haye and wlad have moved on, the nuthugging worshipers should do the same.

OK, let's look at this post then.......

Your first sentence is a joke: ''Why are you so sure Wlad insisted on Germany in order to simply have the home advantage....''

I didn't say I was so sure of anything......can you read?

I didn't say, anywhere, that a Germany fight wouldn't make big money.

What I DID SAY was why, after so publicly stating that they were willing to fight anywhere, why would it be a condition that the fight must be in Germany?

So how can I respond to a post that starts of on a false premise and continues in the same vain?

That's why I laughed, becuase the post DOESN'T answer the question I posed and simply invents a whole load of stuff I DIDN'T say to answer instead.

I dont remember him saying 'I will fight you anyway anytime as long as I have my doctor nearby' on the vid he released.....does'nt look like he was feeling positive if one of his main concerns was having his doctor there.Should'nt he be more worried about where the party is gonna be after. Also did'nt they say no to Vegas before they even knew whether it made more money than Germany, which it probably does with Haye and Golden Boy helping the promotion. They refused anywhere outside Europe knowing full well that Germany would make more money than UK thus making sure they had home advantage.

Just because you say it's a troll thread, don't make it so.

As for preconceptions, read what I actually asked in the thread, then read the reponses properly before deciding who has preconceptions.

The question I've asked is entirely valid and actually based on fact.

Wlad should fight anywhere because Haye is the deserving undisputed HW champion.

Because there's no PPV market in germany having it in england or vegas is good business for both parties.

If held in england it would dramatically increase the ppv sales from england.
The whole build up and everything with the general public who don't follow boxing like us and don't know about Hayes "marketing".

    hahahaaaaaaa.

    WLAD,needsss his german doctor!.

he wont fight cuz he cant have his own dr with him!

what did he need,a sick note before round 1?.

the doctor to confirm he has no ***** and a big hairy ***** that makes him quit and crumble everytime someone lands good on him!.

for the dr to confirm he has no chin,no heart and can not get up to win a fight after being put down?.

Look at the posts that have followed your's and tell me they aren't made by people who are nuthuggers?

The thread just does not seem serious to me.

    OK fair enough.

From what I remember the brothers and their manager Bönte said something pretty much along the following "The fight can be anywhere, where ever it makes the most money. It can be in the US, UK, Germany. We'd come to the UK if that's where it makes the most money". Can we agree this is what the brothers and their manager said repeatedly?

If that is so, then, hypothetically (because we do not have access to Booth's and Bönte's "Where does the fight make most money.xls" spreadsheet) Wlad saying that one of his conditions is that the fight is staged in Germany could mean that they are convinced that's where it would make the most money; considering the parameters Gate/US TV/UK TV/sponsoring and God knows what other financial variables.

I discussed this point with Jack in another thread and I brought up the question if there were any big 65,000+ live gates in UK boxing history. I googled back then and found that Lewis vs Bruno did 25,000 and Ali vs. London did 16,000.

I often read on the forum how Wlad - Haye would sell out Wembley stadium within 5 minutes, but maybe Bönte isn't so sure? All I remember is that Booth tried to secure a stadium for the Wlad fight in 2009 and for whatever reason were unable to secure a stadium venue in the UK. The entire idea unraveled.

So: Where's the evidence the fight would make more live gate money in the UK? I couldn't find any but maybe I am wrong here.

That's just not true. Break down the reasons why the fight makes more money in Germany, without mentioning the 2009 fight.

    Go on.

Serious answers to serious questions do not come from you. Neither do serious questions come from you either.

With correct promotion the ppv's will still be there no matter where the fight takes place. So location is not relevent to ppv's JACK.

Hatton vs someone a few years ago got 55,000 at the City of Manchester Stadium (Manchester City's ground). Calzaghe once got about 50,000 as well at the Millennium Stadium (in Cardiff). Even Mitchell vs Katsidis sold out Upton Park (I think). Haye vs Klitschko could get 60,000+ I think, although Hatton and Calzaghe did do it in their backyards where everyone loves them, people don't seem to support Haye as much. BTW, I'm sure that they were going to fight at Stamford Bridge back in 2009?
