Call it running, backtracking, backpedaling, getting on his bike, whatever but
COtto definitely has been doing some of this since the Mosley fight.

Even the announcers mention it(around 1:30 of 12 round)

There were some points where he was running...and it helped win him the fight.

Morales got his wind knocked out by Garcia...he took a lot of punishment while recouping...would he have been running if he was jabbing while back peddling?

It's not as if Mosley had cotto hurt...he knew he had the fight and made a decision to not absorb unnecessary punches!!!

    What is wrong with that?

What a good fight. Had Cotto up by a point at the end. Mosely really turned it on late and crept right back in it.
Going in, I think everyone thought that Mosely would build up the early lead and Cotto would have to come on late and stop Mosely, but it was almost exactly the opposite. I remember the last 2 rds being a bit uneventful, but I don't remember Cotto running. He was bouncing a bit, kindof to show Shane he still had his legs, but Shane didn't exactly have to chase him. There was a little tying up and that, and if it was a 15rdr, who knows, but Cotto threw nearly as many punches in the late rounds as Shane so I don't know how ppl call that running.:huh

For ppl calling that running they should watch any of Dre Dirrels bigger fights. Then you can differentiate between running and fighting defensively.:lol:

Exactly. He was definetly running against Froch. That's what you call running.
