Oooh man....this fight is juicy juicy. My main concern for Nic in this fight is that he is so stationary and seems to need to have his feet firmly planted to be effective meanwhile Lomo is perpetual motion in there. I think Nic just needs to hunker down and try and time Lomo when he's throwing a quick combo and try and catch him coming in with a big counter shot. I don't think Nic can win the fight by trying to hunt down Lomo. I think Nic also has to throw his jab effectively and try to get Lomo out of his rhythm as much as possible.
Another great fight on the horizon and I have my tickets ready. I should take this $500+ I pocketed from Kov/Ward and flip it on Loma/Walters. I'm not sure about that one like I was in this fight. I'm still going with the Axe Man by MD.
Watching Loma/Salido people just cry and whine about low blows, but Salido smothering Loma and his body work also was a huge factor in him winning that fight. I think Loma learned a LOT from that fight and will box his ears off, but if Walters can emulate that style a bit, and just smother Loma and work on the inside, it could be a really interesting fight.
Those tickets were a steal that I could not pass up. Plus I want to get out of California for a weekend holiday.
I will go with Loma in a close decision but this is another great match up where no result would surprise me.
Disappointing ending. I would rather see Walters get beat onto a stretcher than just walk away. Nobody was in favor of him doing that. Good win by Lomachenko.
Yep. 4th row, 5th seat on the opposite side of the media desks and the ring. Loma was fast bro, Walters never looked hurt. He looked like he wanted to quit in person just like he did on TV. He never really came to fight. Even after the match he just walked back like ,"**** it, I got my check."
Yeah that was disappointing. The mother****er pulled a quit job. That's cool though you were there live! Did you pass by Perris on the 215 south to San Diego!! Lol
