Well to be fair, Loma is making a million dollars in his 8th pro fight. How many fighters can make that claim in the history of the sport?

As far as the Kovalev-Ward comparison, that fight was brewing for over a year and featured one of the greatest LHW's of the last 20 years against a fighter who has been universally recognized as one of the P4P best for years now so IMO that fight held a lot more importance to it compared to Loma vs Walters and both were very deserving of their career paydays. As long as Loma continues to put forth great performances against solid competition, his paychecks will get much bigger on a fight by fight basis.
