I normally wouldn't post **** like this but this is starting to get on my nerves.

I've been trying to find out if high blood pressure makes you gas out faster. Can't find a definite answer googlin either... I've been working pretty as hard as anyone and yet people around me don't gas as fast as I do. I dunno if it's because of me being barely overweight (im around 225, I should be 210ish), or because I have high blood pressure which is caused by kidney problems I had long ago.

Overweight thing goes out the window when I see FAT guys not gasing as fast as I am. While im gasing a lot faster and it feels like my heart is about to jump out the chest(someone actually comented the could SEE my chest pumpin).

Anyone know if hypertension could be the cause?

Thinking about this logically they must be related. When you have high blood pressure the heart has to pump harder to get oxgyen around the body and to all your vital organs. BUT the excercise should help to reduce the high blood pressure.

My mother in law has the same condition and because she cant excercise iv got her on a bodybuilders/boxers (making weight) diet. It seems to be helping as she`s loosing weight but not catabolising as she`s eating a healthy dose of proteins with minimal carbs.

You may need to look at your diet as you may be pre-disposed to the hypertension because of the problems you had before. Either way the fact that you can and are willing to excercise is a great start. The results will simply take longer than is normal due to the oxygen depravation in your blood already. NOTE when you heart rate goes up take a rest. If your resting heart rate is very high see a doctor pronto.

I had mine measured about 4-5 months ago and even my resting heart rate was slightly high. But there are numerous factors for this and according to the nurse it wasnt any cause for alarm.

No, my resting heart RATE is good. 60-70.

What kind of diet your mother has?
Minimal carbs would seem like it would get me exhausted during training even more.

She`s on that diet because she cant excercise. You on the other hand can. Just make sure your eating complex carbs with good doses of proteins. That way you wont loose any gains and your calorific intake remains sound.

Is it carbs earlier in the day and proteins 2nd half of the day kind of thing?

In your case defintly. Id start with some porridge to get yourself kick started as that will be a slow release for a good few hours. Then kick it in with some proteins like Chicken and Tuna. To be honest you excercise already so adjusting your diet will augment the effects of the CV you are doing already. If your looking at loosing weight then less carbs is better. If your not you can stay as you are and just do CV instead providing your diet isnt that bad.
