Dude I just dont see it. Kermits body looks pretty upright to my eyes, and I see nothing from Williams that would propel a 162 lb man 4-5 ft across a ring and headfirst through the ropes.
You hear the announcer say Kermits back hit the monitor. Is that what you see to? Looks to me that he completely clears the monitor.

I just watched it 3 more times. he was so upright he had to actually duck down to get through the lower ropes.
You're entitled to your opinion, and I am not going to argue. You saw hat you saw... I see it different.

I've seen it so many times now I don't even know what to think about it anymore expect for the fact that Kermit could've handled it a million times better. Aka not diving, getting up, etc, etc..

It is clear to me Cintron does nothing to stop his falling momentum, instead uses his left leg to propell himself through the ropes while not even attempting clinging to them.

He got a purse of 500 K for this fight; enough of an incentive to milk it to the max.

Watch carefully at the 5:00-5:02 of the video posted by conditioner101 and you will see Williams right foot/leg tangled with Cintron's right leg as he is going out of the ring.

The leg did tangle, but surely you can see the left leg taking an impulse enabling him to fly through the ropes ?

Real simple. Don't lay your dumb ass on the ground if you aren't hurt. Get straight up and walk towards the ring. Don't give some doctor a reason to not let you fight. Didn't look like he was complaining too hard while he was laying there for 10 minutes.

to me it looks like an accident... But i dont think Cintron is hurt or unable to continue fighting!! I think he´s acting... And i dont think he touch that minitor... Why the hell does he keep on fighting??? Every time things get a little tense in there,he finds a way to chicken out!! sad for him and for the sport..

OMG... people!... the ringside doctors, as in plural, AND the media AND other officials all told him "DO NOT MOVE.... DO NOT MOVE, YOU MAY HAVE A NECK INJURY"... "DO NOT MOVE".

WTF. C'mon people, you are smarter than this. The guy probably had no idea what just happened, thought he might be seriously injured in the heat of that moment and he LISTENED. That is what a smart person does... not try and move and get up when they might actually be seriously injured. This is his livlihood... he is NOT going to choose macho over what a bunch of doctors tell him to do!

I can't believe the stupidity of what many here are saying... for the life of me. :verysad

I dunno, I saw the replay, I just watched the full fight, and I just thought it was a little ironic that right after Williams lands 3 flush straight left hands, that he "falls" through the ropes.

I mean, c'mon alot of us have been in the ring, and I know from experience that to go through the ropes like that you DID NOT try to keep yourself in. Just out of instict my arms akwardly grab onto the ropes when I'm about to fall through, **** turn your back and hook your arms and you will catch yourself without falling all the way at least.

Cintron is well documented in pulling bs in fights, and with his track record and just how he looked like he didnt even try to catch himself, I think he got nervous after Pwill started landing and thought he found a way out of another loss. Oops you cant talk the ref outta this one there Cintron, better hope you can get a nc.

    I agree completely.

First, he freed himself from Williams' legs.

Second, he virtually no momentum at the time.

Third, he could have just as easily propelled himself in another direction.

Fourth, he was clearly under control when he landed; in fact, I can't remember ever seeing someone land more gracefully falling out of the ring.

Fifth, he clears the monitor and lands on a flat part of the table.

Sixth - and I thought this was the most embarassing - he had NO momentum - came to a halt even - on the table, and still rolls off onto the floor.

Seventh, his fall onto the floor was as graceful as his fall onto the table.

Look, to me, this had way too many steps and was way too slow NOT to be at least partly intentional.

Stop mincing words and tell us what you really think about Kermit. Wow.
The guy is a journalist. You think he's going to divulge a source on an internet forum?
    Which means........................... ??

PS- Nice job by Conditioner and Montoya for adding a little something extra to the forum browsing today.

I kind of agree with this.

But, Cintron has a history of being dramatic and it appears he has used up all his good will currency and gets no benefit of the doubt.

Does anyone else notice that Kermit clearly misses the monitor? That he shoulder rolls onto the table quite gracefully? That he grabs the back of his head as he begins to sit upright on the table? Yeah the last time I got the wind knocked out of me i grabbed the back of my head. LOL LOL LOL What was the reason for ending up on the floor when it was quite clear in the video that the people at the table caught him.

Its weird. When watching the original broadcast over and over again, it looks like a genuine fall, loss of balance. Looking at a different angle in slo-mo, it looks like he pushes himself out the ring when he realises he is on the way out. I think he was heading out of the ropes anyways but he exagerrated the fall by pushing himself.

I think he should have been able to got up from that too.
