    I'm going with Roy.

It's not his fault he was that much better than everyone else and that at the time of his peak - guys from other countries wouldn't come over to fight the best (mainly DM). Winning titles from Middleweight to Heavy - with the exception of Cruiserweight.

Oscar had a very good run - but don't let the money and events he made take you away from the underlining facts that Roy was the better fighter and accomplished more for his legacy - other than financially. And for anyone that watched the De la Hoya vs. Sturm fight - knows he never won a title at Middleweight - then got KO'ed by BHop.

quite true , but remember that hoya competed at much lower weights , thus was the taller man on most of his fights , even more than jones did (pazienza,griffinX2,lacy). your explanation is a reason to favor oscar.

Jones all the way, in his prime he was nearly unbeatable at middleweight imo.

I think this poll is lopsided based on the talent gap alone....to me I put oscar slightly ahead.....in terms of better resume IMO and lasting legacy....

jones has the skills over oscar, but a lot and let me stress a lot of his record is padded with bums...

Overall I say ODLH aslo had better what would be considered "Classic Boxing Skills"
What made Jones effective was the fact he had a very unconventional style & fast as ****.

That is true, but RJJ beat both Hopkins and Toney at their best, who are ATG fighters. Oscar on the other hand failed when it came to stepping up to the best, 2 losses against Mosley, lost to Tito, lost to Hopkins, Mayweather, and Pac. Where is his career defining win?
