Roy Jones did hurt his legacy with the way he's ending his career, and he doesn't have the wins B-Hop has. I think B-Hop should be rated a little bit above Jones, but it's a tough question.
Roy Jones Jr, but to be fair Roy Jones has tested positive for steroid use, whos to say he wasnt juiced in the first Hopkins fight? whos to say he hasnt done that his entire career? However I wont be that harsh, the only reason Jones Jr gets this vote is that Heavy weight title, its quite hard to top that
Bhop only by a very, very fine hair . . . he only added to his legacy in the past few years and RJJ only has hurt it. If RJJ had retired after Ruiz (which he should have) he would be way ahead. However, people will remember RJJ on his back (and not for the great fighter he was.) and Bhop for winning a belt at age 70 or what ever ****ing age he was
bhop has the most respected accomplishments. roy has better names on his resume. i'll give it to bhop simply for having more respectable accomplishments and longevity. also...bhop was never ktfo'd.
roy was more gifted. probably more gifted than damn near anyone to lace'em up. bhop did more with his talent, though. prime for prime...head to head...roy all day long... atg though...put bhop higher b/c of what he did, who he's fought and how long he's done it at a high level. huge roy fan here too. my favorite fighter as a kid.
I don't think this is even close! RJJ by a mile. Was unbelievable in his prime and different weight classes he won belts at
what the hell is going on here? i'm as big a rjj fan as there is on here. hell i went and watched him play semi pro basketball when they came through town. but my god, one post has in as a top 10 atg, other post saying its jones and its by a mile. this is crazy talk. we all understand that just b/c you were more talented doesnt mean you automatically win an atg comparison, dont we?
