    There is a difference.

Canelo is the #1 JMW in the world.

Margarito would not have been on anyone's list of the 50 best JMW's in the world.

    Ok.

It's not close, Pac clearly has the better resume and higher ATG ranking.

PAC, should not have to explain why. Marquez is one of my favourite fighters too.

JMM whole career is based on Pac. If you take out the Pac fights he is not so special. Fighting tough with Pac built JMM.

    Losses to Norwood and John?

No truly great wins outside of Pac.

Oh by the way he is officially 1-2-1 against Pac.

You have to be a complete idiot to think JMM has a better career than Pac.

It's more than just size. For instance, if Canelo had no title, no significant wins in a couple years, had fought once in a couple years and was last seen getting beaten to death, would you give a flying f*ck?

Margarito was the #6 WW in the World according to Ring magazine when Pacman thrashed him. So this talk of him not being regarded by anybody as top 50 is just bull****.

It was a good win for Pacman. Mosley got to Marg first, but against Pacman he was still the same lanky brawler who got a controversial stoppage over Cotto, a knockout over Cintron, and a controversial loss to Paul Williams.

The only guy who should have an * next to his win over Margarito is unforunately Cotto. Margarito was physically destroyed by the beating Pacman laid on him and near blind. Cotto just performed a mercy killing. Shame people thought so little of Cotto they were giving the shot Margarito a chance at beating him again, but people are just assholes lol

I don't really care if the Ring had him #6 - I'm a boxing fan and I'm not dumb.

Let's see now...who had Margarito beaten at 154 to be ranked in the top 10?
